Vision & Mission

We here at the Beekeeper believe in securing the honeybee foothold by ensuring conservation of the honeybee. We are passionate about stopping the rapid decline of the honeybee and are equally concerned about their looming extinction – because of this we have made it our business to raise bee awareness by educating those interested.

We strive to be a platform for man and bee to live together in harmony and to promote the following:

• Bee Health; by applying proper beekeeping practices, bee care and bee education.
• Environmental Health; by increasing bee population and subsequent pollination leading to an increase in healthy food availability.
• Personal Health: by providing pure, unadulterated, raw, organic honey and other bee products to our local market.

We aspire to provide our knowledge and services to the farthest reaches of South Africa and we welcome like-minded conservationists to join our cause. We would like to stand in unity with beekeepers all over South Africa as well as abroad so together we can find possible ways to increase the natural order and longevity of the bees – we invite you to stand with us in our view and ask that you contact us to find out how you can make a difference.
